Our UKAGP Organisation is made up of two formal paid positions, Community Administrator and Social Media, and volunteer efforts from across our community. Our Organising Committee is made up of three volunteer roles appointed through our Annual General Meeting (AGM): Chair, Secretary and Finance Officer, along with a number of other volunteers leading on particular areas of interest.

Hi, I’m Nic. I’m a therapist in the NHS practising in Gestalt and EMDR. Prior to qualifying in 2011, I was fortunate to have had several interesting careers including cheffing on a charter yacht in the Caribbean and teaching in Greece. My own therapeutic journey with a Perlsian psychotherapist in Athens started my love affair with Gestalt, especially its holistic approach, so I decided to come back to the UK to train at Metanoia.
I recognised that I wanted to give something back to UKAGP and following some difficult life events last year, I was reminded that there is no perfect moment to volunteer except the present. It’s been great getting to know more people since becoming secretary and I look forward to serving our community further over the next few years.

I graduated from Metanoia in 2011 and I work part time as a psychotherapist in private practice in East London.
Having completed an MBA in 2005 I became a self-employed business consultant working primarily with owner/managers helping them to achieve their goals. Whilst studying I realised how compatible my consultancy work was with Gestalt and so completed a Diploma in Organisational Gestalt. I’ve found this has complemented my consultancy work and enables me to use my passion for Gestalt in a much wider context – my business clients seem to find it quite useful too!
In my spare time, which I’m always trying to increase, I love to travel and enjoy trekking in far and distant lands where I’m never happier than when the phone has no signal, the only running water is in a nearby stream and the only decision to make is whether to wear an extra layer!

Community Administrator – Theo Ellis
Hi there! I am the admin person here at UKAGP. I completed my undergrad in Psychology in 2024. Currently, I am looking for more work experience and I hope to begin my therapeutic studies once I have a bit more life experience.
Outside of work I enjoy running, nature and all things outdoors. I am a coffee enthusiast and enjoy exploring new places. I am from Ireland and moved to the uk for my studies.

Hi everyone! I’m Nell, I manage UKAGP’s social media channels.
I’m currently studying for the Gestalt MSc at Metanoia. I also work as a copywriter and, prior to the training, I studied English Literature and spent time living in Madrid and Berlin.
In my spare time, I love playing music, running and reading.
