UKAGP is a membership association and is managed voluntarily by elected members who represent the Association on the Organising Committee (OC), with the support of a part-time paid Administrator. Role descriptions for each of these roles can be found here.
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in different parts of the country each year, alternating between a 3 day residential conference and a Community Day.
Our conferences are planned, organised and delivered by a Conference Organising Group (COG), set up anew each year, which is open to any member who is willing to share one or more of the following: energy, enthusiasm, specific skills, or experience!
In addition to Joint Membership with EAGT, we offer four different types of membership – Full, Associate, Trainee and Friend. Full members are entitled to create a profile on our online therapist directory.
